Bhuta Shuddhi - Yoga Anugraha

Bhuta Shuddhi

A yogic process to purify the five elements

Bhuta Shuddhi means “purification of the elements,” and is a process of purifying the 5 elements within the human system.

The basis for all creation, including the physical body, is the group of five elements: earth, water, wind, fire, and space. The wellbeing of the body and mind can be established by purifying these five elements within the human system. This process also shapes the body into a stepping stone towards one’s ultimate wellbeing.

Bhuta Shuddhi is the fundamental process that underlies every other yogic practice. Simple yet powerful Bhuta Shuddhi processes are offered as a part of Isha Hatha Yoga programs, allowing one to cleanse the body and prepare for more powerful sadhanas. This is a process which gets to the root of imbalances in the body that lead to disease. This simple practice which you can do daily reorganizes your system on the elemental level.
