Surya Kriya
A powerful process to activate the Solar energy within
Surya Kriya is a potent yogic practice of tremendous antiquity – a holistic process for health, wellness and complete inner wellbeing.
“Surya” means “sun,” and “Kriya” means “inner energy process.” Surya Kriya activates the solar plexus to raise the samat prana, or solar heat, in the system. It also balances a person’s left and right energy channels, leading to stability of the body and stillness of the mind. This strong foundation becomes the basis to explore higher dimensions of life.
The impact of the Sun on the planet and all life is undeniable, even for our basic survival. If you are interested in raising your consciousness, your relation with the Sun becomes very important. It is the potter’s wheel of the solar system that has constructed the human system. The basis of all spiritual sadhana which is physical in nature is to get us in sync with the cycles of nature. Surya Kriya is a powerful process in that direction, such that if you practice it everyday, you will gradually get in sync with the Sun’s cycles.
If you are in tune with the cycles of the sun, then physical health, wellbeing, vitality, energy, these things you don’t have to bother about – they are just there with you. One’s physical health will be great, mental balance will be perfect, and life will happen effortlessly.
Traditionally available only to select groups of yogis, Surya Kriya is being offered as a comprehensive spiritual practice that is ideal for the hectic pace of today’s world.
